Permaculture

Permaculture (from ‘permanent agriculture’) is a system of sustainable design. Our current project is planting and tending an Edible Forest Garden which mimics the structure of the forest while providing food and other useful products.

before the beginning

The first planting day  we ‘planted’ spawn for three varieties of edible mushrooms to benefit the soil. Our next planting day focused on nuts.

If you would like to know about future planting days and other ways to get involved, leave a comment below.
